UVE PRO™ is formulated for horses and ponies with compromised eye health.
Includes vitamins, antioxidants and natural anti-inflammatories which deliver the nutrients to help manage eye health and conditions. UVE PRO™ can be fed as an ongoing maintenance supplement or short-term, during periods of symptoms.
Ideal during the brighter months when the UV index is high or for horses prone to runny eyes.
Includes targeted ingredients including Eyebright, Vitamin A & E and Vitamin B12.
Eyebright
Eyebright is rich in flavonoids, tannins and iridoid glycosides which have anti-inflammatory properties and can help manage mucus production around the eyes and sinuses.
Vitamin A
Vitamin A is essential for the health of the eyes. It is a critical component of rhodopsin, a pigment in the retina which helps horses see in low light conditions. Vitamin A also helps the production of epithelial cells, which form the outer layer of the cornea and conjunctiva. This in turn helps maintain the moisture balance on the eyes surface, supporting the ocular immune defence.
Vitamin E
Vitamin E is a powerful antioxidant, helping neutralise free radicals in the body. The eyes can be vulnerable to oxidative stress due to factors such as UV light. Vitamin E is essential for supporting nerve cells, including the optic nerve, alongside supporting a balanced immune system.
Vitamin B12
Vitamin B12 is essential for red blood cell formation, supporting oxygen delivery. Vitamin B12 is also vital the support of the nervous system (including the optic nerve), maintaining myelin - the protective sheath around nerves.

UVE PRO™ is a natural alternative as part of an ongoing management feeding programme for horses with persistent eye discomfort. The inclusion Vitamin A helps the production of epithelial cells, which form the outer layer of the cornea and conjunctiva, helping maintain the moisture balance on the eyes surface.
This effective formula is successfully used by many owners especially during the brighter months when the UV index is high or their horse has persistent eye related symptoms such as runny eyes or discharge.
How long should my horse stay on UVE PRO™?
Feed as part of a short course during periods of symptoms or as part of a long-term feeding plan as a maintenance supplement.
Horses that need additional support can be fed Bute-EZ™ alongside, which is formulated with natural anti-inflammatories.
Should I split the daily amount over two feeds?
It is recommended that your horse is fed its maintenance amount in one feed - do not split over two feeds. To find out your horse’s daily requirements, see the feeding guidelines below.
For loading doses (the first 3-5 days of feeding), feed the required amount twice daily.
I’m not sure my horse will eat it?

Feeding Guidelines
1 serving = 18g (35ml Scoop)
Maintenance:
Under 500kg ¾ - 1 scoop per day
500 Kg – 600 kg 1 ½ - 1 ¾ scoop per day
600kg + 2 scoops per day
First 3 - 5 days feed twice daily
For best results, mix with feed, store in a cool dry place in an airtight container & use within 6 months of opening

Complementary feed supplement for horses
After our young pony experiencing, eye ulcers and swollen runny eyes, we went on the hunt for a product to help with her eye health. After an ulcer that then went to uveitis, I was at my wits end. The vets we're talking about eye removal.
After 2 weeks on uve pro the difference was amazing. We're now 6 weeks down and the phots speak for themselves.
We're now on the home straight with it completely healing, hes no longer in pain, still has sight in his and back to his usual self, not the pain filled dragon he became.
My 17year old rescue mare has had issues with uveitis since I got her 9 years ago. It has resulted in her loosing vision in one eye due to scarring. In the past no oral medication has made any difference and she is too head shy from her past for long courses of eye drops to be feasible making her uveitis a nightmare. Started these supplements 2.5weeks ago. The first 7 days there wasn't really any difference but since then her eyes are the best they've been in the last 9years! Hope this continues long term! (Unfortunately don't have any gery clear before photos but these show after)
