Sensitive Mare™ helps with behavioural changes and discomfort from seasons.
This highly palatable supplement provides a powerful combination of active ingredients including hormone specific herbs + L-Tyrosine, a natural calming ingredient. Ideal for 'moody mares.
- Chaste Tree Berry: regulates the pituitary gland, which can help balance hormones.
- Raspberry Leaf: used to help maintain regular hormone levels for mares & support smooth muscle tone in both the reproductive and GI tracts to help moody mares remain comfortable.
- Black Cohosh: Black Cohosh is considered a natural way to ease hormonal discomforts. It helps suppress the secretion of Luteinizing Hormone (LH), high levels of LH in the blood are often associated with hormonal discomforts.
- L-Tyrosine: An amino acid that helps restore depleted levels of serotonin lost through stress, helping her become a calmer, more relaxed mare.
Competition safe. Conforms with FEI Prohibited Substances List.
Not suitable for mares in foal.
Not recommended to be used inconjunction with Pergolide. Chaste Tree Berry may affect or interfere with the actions of Pergolide.

600kg + 2 scoops per day
First 3 - 5 days feed twice daily

500kg– 550kg – 45 scoops (30 + 15 scoop)
550kg+ - 60 scoops

I used this last year and had taken her off it over the winter. I noticed she was struggling with symptoms so ordered it again and it’s made a noticeable difference already so I will be reordering and keeping her on it until the autumn again.
Still early days but I am starting to see my mare moods improve, she had been very unhappy during her season. She is also a very fussy lady and thankfully this supplement she happily eat in her feed. Keeping my fingers crossed 🤞
This supplement has really helped my daughter’s mare. She is now happy to be groomed around her ‘reproductive’ area, showing no signs of tenderness. She’s also her normal affectionate self and settled around the geldings.
I started this supplement on my mare who was feral when we purchased her 7.5 years ago. Now 13, we still have issues including not being able to get a headcollar on her in the stable! Since being on this supplement I have, more often than not, got the headcollar on straight away. I hacked her yesterday and she was happy-quiet, yet still had all the energy she needed. She’s a very special horse, so worth trying all the options.
I have a very 'Sensitive Mare' who is extremely difficult in all ways when in season, particularly the transitional ones. For the last 2 years I have used Regumate but she always ends up with swollen udders which makes me reluctant to have her on it long term. After chatting with Debbie we decided to try her on Sensitive Mare. This was in the Autumn and she was having her last season of the year and although she she wasnt coming into season I decided to keep her on it in preparation for her coming back into season which seems to always be the beginning of January. The result has been amazing! Apart from some tail lifting at the boys you would not know that she was in season! The irrational behaviour & inability to touch her when ridden due to extreme sensitivity has completely disappeared. I have a much happier more comfortable mare! Highly recommended
