Calmer PRO™ is formulated to support relaxed, confident and focused behaviour in stressful or excitable situations.
Ideal to be fed to horses that get anxious during periods of travel, competitions or other challenging situations such as moving yard, changes of routine and fun rides.
Calmer PRO™ can be fed daily or before known changes in routine where they will feel anxious.
Low in Sugar (2.4%) and Starch (6.54%) the key ingredients Vitamin C, Flax, and Peppermint Leaf make Calmer PRO™ a highly palatable supplement formulated to help manage anxious, nervous behaviour.
Vitamin C (Ascorbic Acid)
Vitamin C is key for immune health and is an antioxidant, helping protect the brain and nervous system from oxidative damage. Vitamin C is also involved in the synthesis of Dopamine and Norepinephrine, brain chemicals that influence mood and behaviour.
Peppermint Leaf Powder
Peppermint encourages fussy horses to eat, and contains menthol, which can help to soothe the digestive tract, reduce gas, and provide support for horses suffering with digestive issues which can lead to behavioural issues.
Flax
Flax Seed is rich in soluble fibre, particularly mucilage which forms a gel like coating when mixed with digestive fluids acting as a barrier against stomach acid. Flax is one of the best plant sources of alpha-linolenic acid (ALA), an omega-3 fatty acid which can support the health of the brain and nervous system.

My horse is fine at home, but gets stressed travelling & at shows, do I have to feed it everyday?
Calmer PRO™ can be fed daily or for 2-3 consecutive days at a loading dose feeding rate before known changes in routine where they will feel anxious.
Can I feed Calmer PRO™ with Calmer Bites™?
Yes! Calmer Bites™ are a handy bite size treat, perfect for keeping on the lorry for horses with anxious behaviour. Feed 1-2 Calmer Bites™ 1 hour before required.
What’s the difference between Calmer PRO™ & Calmer PRO™ Soya Free?
The formulas are exactly the same, but we’ve removed the Soya and replaced it with Milled Chia Seeds for owners who prefer to have their horses on a Soya free diet.
Should I split the daily amount over two feeds?
It is recommended that your horse is fed its maintenance amount in one feed - do not split over two feeds. To find out your horse’s daily requirements, see the feeding guidelines below.
For loading doses (the first 3-5 days of feeding), feed the required amount twice daily.
I’m not sure my horse will eat it?

Feeding Guidelines
1 serving = 18g (40ml Scoop)
Maintenance:
Under 500kg ½ - ¾ scoop once a day
500 kg – 550 kg 1 - 1½ scoop once a day
550kg – 600kg+ 1½ - 2 scoops once a day
First 3 - 5 days feed twice daily
For best results, mix with feed, store in a cool dry place in an airtight container & use within 6 months of opening

Complementary feed supplement for horses
It really takes the edge off allowing my horse to be comfortable with her surroundings rather than winding herself up.
I enjoy hacking around the countryside and pleasure rides with my friends. I find the Calmer Pro helps to keep my young horses more level headed and less reactive when facing traffic on the busy country lanes that we need to ride along to access the Bridleways nearby.
I think it also helps to keep the rider calm as I am less worried about them spooking or jumping out into the busy road.
My husband says it’s a placebo for the rider -not quite as good as slow gin tho 🥂 🤣

We use this on two very different horses. One who is young and seeing lots of new things. This calmer allows him to take everything on board without getting anxious. The other is quite a hot, tense horse and when on this calmer she is able to keep from boiling over but without losing that competition spark. This alongside the calming bites is a perfect recipe for success!
I’ve found calmer pro has helped my horse massively, he’s naturally a very worried and nervous horse. especially nervous of people, but I’ve found since he’s been on the calmer pro his confidence within his self has came on lots and is actually wanted to put his head out the stable door and see people now.
