Active ingredients MSM, Boswellia and Turmeric work together to act as natural anti-inflammatories and combine with L-Arginine to help provide a healthy blood flow and maintain ease of movement.
The inclusion of Black Pepper and Flax which is high in oil, work in conjunction with these ingredients for effective bioavailability.
MSM
Methylsulfonylmethane (MSM) helps lower levels of inflammatory molecules and supports healthy cartilage, connective tissue and helps manage oxidative stress which is increased during periods of inflammation.
Boswellia (65% Boswellic Acids)
The primary active compounds of Boswellia are Boswellic acids, supporting natural anti-inflammatory pathways in the body. Boswellia benefits the health of cartilage, tendons and ligaments making it beneficial for horses in recovery, hard work or old age.
Turmeric
Recognised as a natural anti-inflammatory for stiff joints, soft tissue soreness, or systemic inflammation.
Vitamin C
Vitamin C helps regulate immune cell activity and is a natural antioxidant. After periods of injury and inflammation, Vitamin C can be depleted in the body and increase oxidative stress. Vitamin C is essential for the production of Collagen synthesis, a key component of healthy joint cartilage, tendons & ligaments.

My horse gets stiff joints, should I use Bute-EZ™ or Supple Xtra™?
Bute-EZ™ is formulated as a natural alternative for horses that are showing signs of discomfort, horses that need additional support or require ongoing care after periods of injury & inflammation. Bute-EZ™ can be used alongside supplements such as UVE PRO™, Soft Tissue Support™ and Sensitive Mare™ for additional support.
Supple Xtra™ is formulated as a maintenance supplement to provide a high level of nutrition to maintain healthy joints.
How long should my horse stay on Bute-EZ™?
You can use Bute-EZ ™ as part of a short or long-term feeding plan, depending on whether your horse needs long term comfort management or through rehabilitation periods such as box rest.
Should I split the daily amount over two feeds?
It is recommended that your horse has its maintenance amount in one feed, so for a 500kg horse, you need to use 1 scoop into one feed and for a 600kg horse, 2 scoops into one feed. Do not split the maintenance dose into two feeds. 2 scoops per day = 2 scoops in one feed.
For loading doses (the first 3-5 days of feeding), you need to use the required dosage into two separate feeds (morning & evening).

Palatability samples are available on our website, so that you can ensure your horse is happy to eat it.
Feeding Guidelines
1 serving = 25g (40ml Scoop)
Maintenance:
Under 500kg ¾ - 1 scoop per day
500 Kg – 600 kg 1 ½ - 1 ¾ scoop per day
600kg + 2 scoops per day
First 3 - 5 days feed twice daily
For best results, mix with feed, store in a cool dry place in an airtight container & use within 6 months of opening
