Made with the amino acid L-Tyrosine to help with the production of Dopamine, Adrenaline and Norepinephrine. These neurotransmitters can affect behaviour when depleted.
Formulated with the key ingredients L-Tyrosine, Peppermint, Flax and Vitamin E making Cool Bites™ highly effective and palatable treats. Helps horses with anxious, nervous behaviour stay calm and focused.
Baked by hand for consistency & quality, each Cool Bite™ is carefully cut and weighed to ensure your horse is getting the correct amounts of the active ingredient L-Tyrosine.

Peppermint Oil
Peppermint oil is used in our Cool Bites™ to give them their tasty flavour, while supporting the digestive & respiratory system.
Flax Seed Powder
Flax Seed is rich in soluble fibre, particularly mucilage which forms a gel like coating when mixed with digestive fluids acting as a barrier against stomach acid. Flax is one of the best plant sources of alpha-linolenic acid (ALA), an omega-3 fatty acid which can support the health of the brain and nervous system.
Vitamin E (Natural dl-a-Tocopheryl Acetate 700iu)
Vitamin E is a powerful antioxidant, that plays a critical role in protecting the horse from everyday oxidative stress which is particuraly relevant for high performance horses. Vitamin E is an important nutrient that supports muscle health and protects cell membranes. In addition, it is an 'essential vitamin' (meaning your horse cannot synthesise it and it must be provided in the diet).

Yes! Cool Bites™ are a great way top up levels of L-Tyrosine if you horse has been stressed and depleted their L-Tyrosine levels (which can lead to behaviour issues). They are a handy bite size treat, perfect for keeping on the lorry. Feed 1-2 Calmer Bites™ 1 hour before required.
What’s the difference between Cool Bites™ & Calmer Bites™?
Calmer Bites™ and Cool Bites™ are made with very similar ingredients and work in the same way. The main difference is the flavour, in which case, Calmer Bites™ come in 3 flavours (Original – Fenugreek, Ginger and Oregano & Thyme) and Cool Bites™ are made with Peppermint and Garlic.
I’m not sure my horse will eat them?
We offer a Variety Pack which includes all four flavours, so your horse can try them all and chose which they like best!
Feeding Guidelines
Feed 1-2 Cool Bites™ 1 hour before required. May be topped up every 3 hours.
Can also be fed the 2-3 days consecutively leading up to the potentially exciting or stressful situation.
Over time, your horse should gain confidence and need them less.
Can be fed alongside Calmer PRO™.
Contains Molasses. For horses with Metabolic issues feed Calmer PRO™ instead.
For best results, store in a cool dry place in an airtight container & use within 6 months of opening.
