Product Info
Muscle-EZ™ is formulated using essential amino acids and antioxidants to support horses that show signs of tight, sore muscles and muscle cramps after exercise.
Horses prone to post exercise muscle tightness often have metabolic imbalances in which the liver plays a key role in. The inclusion of Milk Thistle works as an antioxidant to help reduce oxidative stress.
The inclusion of L-Carnitine targets lactic acid formation which can help manage excessive glycogen breakdown and lactic acid.
Muscle-EZ™ is formulated with key ingredients including Spirulina, Milk Thistle, L-Alanine and L-Arginine, which utilises Nitric Oxide pathway precursors.
Use as part of a long-term feeding plan or until symptoms or workload reduce.
Spirulina
Spirulina is a source of protein, antioxidants, and anti-inflammatory compounds, containing essential amino acids for muscle repair and maintenance, helping manage oxidative stress.
L-Carnitine
L-Carnitine transports fatty acids into mitochondria for energy production, shifting muscles to use fat instead of glycogen. By improving fat oxidation, it can help reduce excessive glycogen breakdown and lactic acid.
L-Alanine
Alanine is an amino acid with a special role in muscle energy metabolism and manages build-up of metabolic waste in muscle that contributes to fatigue and damage.
Milk Thistle
Milk Thistle helps reduce oxidative stress during times when muscles become tight or cramped. It works towards managing the build-up of waste products that may worsen muscle discomfort.
FAQ’s
What’s the difference between Muscle-EZ ™ and Muscle Balance ™?
Muscle-EZ™ is formulated to support horses that show signs of tight and sore muscles and cramps after exercise, this is due to the inclusion of a higher rate of antioxidants to Muscle Balance™. Muscle Balance™ is a high protein supplement to help build or maintain muscles and topline.
How long should my horse stay on Muscle-EZ™ for?
We would recommend you use Muscle-EZ™ as part of a long-term feeding plan or until symptoms or workload reduce.
Should I split the daily amount over two feeds?
It is recommended that your horse has its maintenance amount in one feed, so for a 500kg horse, you need to use 1 scoop into one feed and for a 600kg horse, 2 scoops into one feed. Do not split the maintenance dose into two feeds. 2 scoops per day = 2 scoops in one feed.
For loading doses (the first 3-5 days of feeding), you need to use the required dosage into two separate feeds (morning & evening).
I’m not sure my horse will eat it?
Samples are available so that you can ensure your horse is happy to eat it. Just call one of the team on 01184 676715 to discuss.
