Our Calming Range is ideal for horses during excitable or stressful situations such as moving yards, travelling, competitions, separation anxiety, hacking, farrier & dentist visits and to help excitable horses settle during turnout.
The Calming Range is made with the active ingredient L-Tyrosine. Considered a natural mood stabiliser, it helps the production of serotonin, which can be depleted through stress and anxiety. Serotonin is a neurotransmitter that has important functions including helping towards the physiological regulation of stress.
Calmer PRO™ - No Soya, is a powerful and effective calming supplement fed daily in the feed. To ensure palatability, Calmer PRO™- No Soya is enriched with natural peppermint leaf making this a highly palatable supplement for even the fussier feeder.
Calmer Bites™ are calming treats to help your horse to stay calm and focused without compromising performance. These delicious cookies come in four different flavours to choose from; Original (fenugreek), Mint, Ginger and Oregano & Thyme. Perfect for keeping on the lorry for show days!
Calmer Bites™ Contain Molasses so if your horse has EMS, Laminitis, is sensitive to sugar or needs a closely controlled diet we do not recommend feeding on a regular basis or in large quantities.
Competition Safe: Conforming with the FEI Prohibited Substance List, Calmer Bites are a handy treat size bite making them a great addition to the lorry for show days. They can be combined with our daily calming powder Calmer PRO™ - No Soya for those who need it.

Feeding Guidelines
Calmer PRO™- No Soya - Feeding Guidelines:
- Under 500kg ¾ - 1 scoop per day
- 500kg – 600 kg 1 ½ - 1 ¾ scoop per day
- 600kg + 2 scoops per day
- First 3 - 5 days feed twice daily
Calmer Bites™ Feeding Guidelines: Every horse is different and will metabolise at different rates as well as having pre-existing levels of serotonin.
- Feed one or two Bites™ 30-45 minutes before you need the desired effect
- Lasts 3-4 hours and can be topped up every 3 hours
- For best results feed for 2-3 consecutive days to build up the Serotonin levels
- Up to 4 Bites™ can be given in a day
