FAQ’s

My veteran horse struggles to shed his coat, will this help?

Delayed shedding can be caused by hormonal imbalances, feeding a supplement with Agnus Castus may help your horse shed his coat more effectively. Agnus Castus can influence the pituitary gland and help regulate hormones.

How long should my horse stay on Veteran Support™?

We recommend you use Veteran Support™ as part of a long-term feeding plan to see the most benefit. Seasonal, grass and routine changes (more limited turnout in winter and a change in forage) can upset the gut. Inulin helps nourish beneficial microbes in the hind gut, acting as a food source for essential probiotics this in turn supports gut health & fibre digestibility.

Speak with your vet speak before feeding Veteran Support™ if your horse is on Pergolide as Chaste Agnus Catsus (Chaste Tree Berry) is purported to decrease its efficacy.

Should I split the daily amount over two feeds?

It is recommended that your horse is fed its maintenance amount in one feed - do not split over two feeds. To find out your horse’s daily requirements, see the feeding guidelines below.

For loading doses (the first 3-5 days of feeding), feed the required amount twice daily.

I’m not sure my horse will eat it?

Palatability samples are available on our website, so that you can ensure your horse is happy to eat it.

Veteran support for a very active pony

I’ve started to add this mix into my pony’s feed and so far so good. He has no particular issue and I want to keep it that way. The advisors have been so very helpful, so kind … my thanks.

Veteran support

I have used the veteryn support on my horse that suffers with cushings , since being on the supplement for a few months I can really see a difference, my elderly horse is back to his cheeky self . He has a new lease of life so I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this supplement
